Before you invite the best decorators Manchester has around over to your office or home to give it a bit of a facelift, you need to decide what you want to have done first in order to speed the process up quickly. So now is the perfect time to find out all the latest interior design trends for autumn.

You may have noticed that texture is big news for interiors at the moment, particularly embroidery, so perhaps consider bringing in new curtains, cushions or rugs to really brighten up your office space. Bold colours are really huge right now as well and can really make difference during the dreary autumn months, so go for reds, purples and oranges. Anything bright will do!

Another huge trend that shows no signs of stopping is pastels. These were seen everywhere during the summer, but won’t be going anywhere for quite some time. Expect the shades to be big for at least another year, if not two.

One of the key points to bear in mind when redecorating at this time of year is that colour is really important. It’s also one of the easiest things to change at home or in the office so if you want to make a big impact without spending a huge amount of money, giving the walls a new lick of paint is a great way to go about it.

Whatever you do, just make sure you think long and hard about it, and consult an expert before you start getting out the paintbrushes. You don’t want to be stuck with something you hate for the next six months, after all. For even more ideas, have a read of this Daily Telegraph article.
